What did Baltimore Hunger Project need?

Jami helped Baltimore Hunger Project enhance their annual reports, grant applications, and other marketing materials with compelling narratives about their organization’s mission, activities, and achievements.

Why is this project important?

The most powerful way to explain Baltimore Hunger Project is through words and pictures. It's sharing stories about the children we support, volunteers who help us, or principals and social workers who see the negative effects hunger have on their students but also the positive effects of being fed. It's communicating with the community about the epidemic we are facing (weekend childhood hunger) and how we are working to eliminate this growing problem.

This project will save us $2,397, allowing us to focus our resources on feeding the thousands of children in our community who need help.

What did Jami have to offer?

If I'm not selling marketing recruiting or pitching something, then I'm probably writing. My fingers are always clacking on the keyboard and my brain is a bottomless inkwell.

At any given moment, I am some combination of the following: creative, energetic, innovative, hard-working, team-oriented, with a contagious passion for inspiring young minds, reading & writing education, and storytelling through creative and screenwriting.

About Baltimore Hunger Project

Baltimore Hunger Project is dedicated to eliminating the growing problem of weekend childhood hunger by feeding bodies and minds. We are bridging the gap between Friday and Monday by consistently providing weekend food packages to children identified as food insecure, in a compassionate and dignified manner. We raise awareness about the effects of hunger by establishing partnerships with community members, other organizations, and decision makers.
